Pastor Brian was born into a family with a long heritage of Christian faith. When he was going into the elementary school, his father received a calling from God to become a pastor. Ever since then, he has been carrying a “Pastor’s kid” title on him. In 1996, his family of five immigrated to America to Frederick, MD.
His life in America was very boring and typical for anyone at his age until he met a group of faithful, fired up Christians at the University of Maryland College Park in 2002. For the first time in his life, he enjoyed everything about Christian life. That same year, he decided to join a short term mission team during a summer break where he received God’s calling to the ministry.
After he came back from the mission trip, he transferred to Washington Bible College, wanting to pursue his desire to study God’s word and do God’s ministry. After earning his Bachelors in 2005, he enrolled in Capital Bible Seminary to further develop his knowledge and skills for the ministry. Following his passion for families and youths, he earned a Masters of Arts in Christian Counseling and Discipleship in the youth and family concentration in 2007.
His NCFC journey started in 2005 as an intern pastor for the youth group in MD campus. Since then, he has been learning different areas of ministry within & outside the church. In September of 2007, he was called to serve in VA campus with more opportunities to develop ministry skills in many different areas of our church, especially in the areas of youth ministry and worship.
He is very happy to have a wonderful wife Katelynn Lee who is working as an elementary teacher. Katelynn is a wonderful ministry partner at the church as well. They got married in 2007 and God blessed them with a beautiful daughter, Reina Lee, a year after.
He hopes and prays that he will always be a pastor who serves with character, passion, conviction, and a clear sense of direction from God.
