Temptation of Jesus
마가복음 1장 12절–13절 (Mark 1:12-13)
마태복음 4장 1절–12절 (Matthew 4:1-12)

Ⅰ. 첫번째 시험 (마 4:3-4).
The First Temptation (Matthew 4:3-4).
1. 돌이 ____이 되게하라.
Turn the stones to become bread.
2. 육신의 필요를 충족시키기 위해 (육신의 정욕).
To meet the physical needs (cravings of the flesh).
3. 제일 ____________필요를 충족시키기 위해.
To meet the most urgent needs.

Must determine our priority.

II. 두번째 시험 (마 4:5-7).
The Second Temptation (Matthew 4:5-7).

Throw yourself down.
2. 자신의 능력을 ________하기 위해서 (이생의 자랑).
To display how powerful he is (boasting).
3. 방법을 ________시키기 위해서
To confuse the methods.
4. 목적도 중요하지만 수단/방법 또한 동일하게 중요하다.
Methods are just as important as our goal.

III. 세번째 시험 (마 4:8-11).
The Third Temptation (Matthew 4:8-11).
1. 나에게 엎드려 절하라.
Bow down and worship me.
2. ________ 길을 택하기 위해서.
To choose the easy way.
3. ____에 보이는대로 살게하기 위해서 (안목의 정욕).
To follow the lust of one’s eyes.
4. 십자가의 길을 가야만했다.
He had to go the way of the Cross.

Ⅳ. 사탄의 시험 방법
The methods Satan used to test Jesus.
1. 예수님의 ________에 도전했다 (하나님의 아들).
Challenged the identity of Jesus Christ (the Son of God).
2. 예수님이 오신 ________에 도전했다 (히 4:15).
Challenged the purpose of Jesus coming.
3. 예수님이 오신 ________에 도전했다.
Challenged the mission of His coming.

Ⅴ. 결과
Results
1. 싸워서 이기셨다 (요 16:33).
He fought and won the battle.
2. 말씀으로 대항하셨다 (시 119:11).
He answered with Scripture.
3. 성령에 충만하여 이끌려야 한다 (롬 8:9).
He was filled and led by the Spirit.
