“Go Into the Ark!”
Rev. Jason Kim
Genesis 6:1-8; 7:1-10
4 Events – Creation; Man/Woman; The Fall; The Flood (Chapters 1-11)
4 People – Abraham; Isaac; Jacob; Joseph (Chapters 12-50)
God’s judgment/anger is an expression of HIS justice; HIS justice is an act
of Love, and it is a great news that God is angry at sin.
Which alternative would you choose? Evil, injustice, oppression and
violence to continue and go unchallenged OR God to confront and judge
sins and rebellions?
What God reveals through the flood judgment;
1. God is angry with sin and He will punish sin.
2. God wants sinful men to repent and to show us the way of salvaon.
Inclusivism vs. Exclusivism.
“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in
heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah,
so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before
the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in
marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark and they knew nothing
about what would happen until the flood came and took them all
away. That is how it’ll be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:36-39
“Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and
forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living
creature I have made." Genesis 7:4
