(Philippians 2:19-30)

A sincere faith instilled in Timothy by strong women of faith (1 Tim 1:5)
He also served with his father
Apostle Paul considered Timothy his spiritual son
II. A Contrast between Two Families
Parents have a difficult challenge in today’s society raising their children
A good Education, Career and Marriage are life’s goals
Church family of Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Raised as a Christian to be in the World, but not of the World
III. A Coming of Age from Teenager to Adulthood
Appreciate what your parents tried to do for you
Appreciate your Pastors for their intercession!
Recognize God’s spiritual provision in your life
IV. Reflection:
If you’re under the age of 20 years-old, can you even imagine what it will be like one day to know your parents on an equal person-to-person level?
If you think back to a time of a crisis, who do you remember was there to guide and support you? Do you have a community now?
