Apostle Paul: God’s Transforming Power
(Acts 9:1-19)
Rev. Dave Chang
I. Apostle Paul’s former life (vv. 1-2)
God can use anyone, no matter how bad.
God can use the “bad” in our lives for his glory.
II. Apostle Paul’s encounter with God (vv. 9-14, 17-19)
An encounter with God is personal.
An encounter with God humbles us.
An encounter with God leads us to repentance.
III. Apostle Paul’s calling (vv. 15-16)
Our calling is part of our salvation.
Our calling involves suffering.
IV. Application
How is God using your past, whether good or bad, for his glory today?
Do we come to worship God and encounter God with humility, or do we come with pride?
We are saved for a purpose. We are God’s chosen instrument to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. How are you living your life?
