I. The Woman, the Son, and the Dragon (12)
1. The Signs
2. A war in heaven the dragon was hurled down: no longer has access to
heaven (v.9)
3. God’s protection from the evil one (12:6, 13-16)
4. Satan attacks the offspring of the woman (12:17)
II. The Beast & his Influence (13)
1. Identity of the beast: Antichrist (Matt 24:15; 2 Thess 2:1-4)
2. Power & Authority given by Satan
3. Many people will worship the beast (13:4, 14,15)
4. Self-exaltation & blaspheme against God (13:5, 6, 14)
5. Number of the beast,: “666” (13:18)
III. God’s People
1. Call for patient endurance and Faithfulness (12:17)
2. We will Overcome (12:11)
IV. Application
1. Share an experience if you ever had to forsake your faith and Christian
values to save your face or to give in to peer pressure. How did you
deal with it?
2. How can we better equip/train ourselves for the intense suffering and
persecution that will come our way?
3. How does having the right perspective of the number “666” help
you deal with all the negative implications (fear) people have about
that number?
