Dear Prayer Partners,

We just wanted to wish you a HAPPY THANKSGIVING from Thailand! Even though Oct. 29th marks the day we left the US, Nov. 26th marks the day we first set foot into Thailand. We are so thankful for God's faithfulness as we approach our one-year anniversary here. We are also so thankful for all of you who faithfully pray for us and generously give to God by supporting us financially.  We are reminded that thanksgiving is simply another form of worship to God, and we rejoice in the fact that we can worship our God with you on this day.

We also wanted to share with you a few additional prayer requests in between prayer letters. They are as follows:

1. Language Check & Level 1 Evaluation - Our schedule has been moved up so that both of us will have our last module check (module on Christian Communication) as well as our Level 1 (speaking & writing) evaluation by the end of next week. Lila will have her check on Wed Nov. 28th and her speaking & writing evaluation on Thur Nov. 29th. Dave will have his check and speaking evaluation on Fri Nov. 30th and his writing evaluation on Sat Dec. 1st. Please pray that we may successfully prepare for and complete our checks and evaluations, but more than that, that we may utilize the Thai language well to reach the hearts of Thais.

2. Packing & Moving - Pray for us as we take time in Dec. to pack up and prepare for our move to South Thailand. Pray also for Caleb & Caden (as well as us) in this time of transition, and that they will have time to say goodbye to all their friends and uncles/aunties in Lopburi. We will use the remaining weeks in Dec. in Lopburi to help with Christmas outreach in the area as well. We will leave Lopburi on Dec. 22nd and arrive in Nakon Si Thammarat on Jan. 9th, after our holiday visit to see Dave's parents in Taiwan. Pray also that we may find a suitable house to rent in the south, which will be able to fit our needs.

3. Wrapping-Up English Teaching - We will be wrapping-up our English teaching in the Khay Hat neighborhood village on Thur Dec. 6th with a celebration with all the kids and their parents. A gospel puppet show will be included, and we will also take opportunity to invite them to the Christmas service at Phrasiri Church as well. Pray that the gospel will be conveyed clearly and powerfully, that seeds will be planted, and that the families will be available to come to the Christmas service.

4. Homeschool Teacher - As we settle into the south next year, we will both be taking up the role as homeschool teachers to Caleb & Caden once again - in the midst of settling down, starting up ministry & outreach, and continued language learning. We would like to ask you to pray with us for a homeschool teacher who would be willing to come and commit (a few months to even a year) to help homeschool our kids so that we may be freed up to spend more time in other areas. Please feel free to ask us for more info, and also to pass the word unto anyone you may know who would be willing to experience short-term missions (we would like to provide an experience inclusive of other areas of ministry and not just homeschooling).

With thanksgiving & God's love,

Dave, Lila, Caleb, & Caden
