News from the Forkkios

Greetings dearest brothers and sisters!

We have finally been able to move to Sogakope so we can devote more of our time to the Trokosi ministry.  Our first objective is to find better ways to minister to the trokosi slaves who have been liberated.  We are hoping to host monthly gatherings for evangelism and discipleship training.  The trokosi are scattered in remote villages so it would be beneficial to have them gather on a regular basis for fellowship and worship.  Please pray that planning and implementation will go well and that God will use us to reach them on the heart level.

Please continue to pray for the salvation of the pagan shrine priests. The darkness here is very deep-rooted.  We prayed near one shrine where they drink human blood.  Recently they kidnapped someone, drew her blood then dumped her by the roadside.  (She was found and taken to the hospital.) The leaders at the shrine used to openly perform human sacrifices.   It is suspected that they may still do it in secret.  Isaiah 9:2 has been on my heart so much lately.  “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.”  Please pray that the Light of the world would shine His light into the hearts of the people of Ghana.
