Genesis 2:7, 18-25

 

“Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7
“The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words
of this law.” Deuteronomy 29:29

1. Man is a physical being.
“By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food unl you return to the
ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you
will return." Genesis 3:19

2. Man is a spiritual being.
“May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through.
May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23
“For the word of God is alive and acve. Sharper than any double-edged
sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow;
it judges the thoughts and atudes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

3. Man was made to be relaonal.
