The most monumental event in human history; the Second Coming of our Lord!
1. The Bema (Judgment seat of Christ)
2. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
“For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat…each of us will give an
account of himself to God…each of us may receive what is due us for the
things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” (Rom. 14; 2 Cor. 5)
The difference: in the rapture Jesus comes for His saints (1 Thess. 4) and
in the coming of judgment Jesus comes with His saints (1 Thess. 3; Rev. 19).
Three stages of Jewish marriage
1. Betrothal
2. Union
3. Wedding celebration
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have
told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and
prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me
that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where
I am going.” John 14:1-4
