Rev. Neil Kim
Revelation 4:1-11; 5:11-14
I. Before revealing the future judgement, we find ourselves being led into throne
of God to worship Jesus. Why? (4:1-7)
1. God doesn’t want us to focus on the wrong things.
2. The future revelation starts in His throne.
3. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will help you to face and overcome
upcoming calamity.
2. What does our worship should look like? (4:8-11)
1. Fearful heart in His presence.
2. Attitude of humility.
3. Verbal expression in our praise.
3. God wants us to remember the Lamb of God, Jesus, who took away our sins. (5:6-8)
1. Horns in scripture stand for power or authority. (Jesus is all powerful)
2. Eyes say that Jesus can see much more than you can. (Jesus knows all)
3. Number seven represents to who God is.
4. Jesus is worthy to be honored and praised as God. (5:9-13)
4. Why is so vital to focus on Jesus?
1. Jesus is the focus of Revelation.
2. Trouble times are coming for real!
3. Revelation is saying to us: Don’t be afraid because Jesus is on His
throne watching over us.
5. Conclusion
1. Focus on Jesus and worship Him at all times because it is the only way
you can overcome the rough time that is surly coming.
2. God says to all churches, “Whoever has ears, let them hear what the
Spirit says to the churches! I’m coming very soon!”
3. So be ready, don’t waste your time, and focus on Jesus now!
