Revelation 1:1-8

 

I. Revelation
“The revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants
what must soon take place…” (1:1a)

“Grace and peace to you from him who is, and who was, and who is to come…”
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and
who is to come, the Almighty.” (v. 4 and v. 8)
“Who is, and who was and who is to come.”
II. Jesus now have servants!
“Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something
to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking
the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” Phil 2: 6-7
“If any of your people-Hebrew men or women-sell themselves to you and
serve you six years, in the seventh year you must let them go free…Do not
consider it a hardship to set your servant free, because their service to you
these six years has been worth twice as much as that of a hired hand. And the
Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.” Deuteronomy 15:12-18
“To him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen!” (v. 6)
