“No Other Name but Jesus”

Acts 4:1-12

 

“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven
given to mankind by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12
1. All sin is against God alone.
“Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my
transgressions, and my sin is always before me. Against you, you only, have
I sinned and done what is evil in your sight; so you are right in your verdict
and justified when you judge.” Psalm 51:2-4
2. Jesus paid the debt.
3. All must come through Christ alone
“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him
punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for
our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that
brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all,
like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and
the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6
Only one road leads to salvation and there is only one door – Jesus!
“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your
heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with
your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth
that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone
who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no
difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and
richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name
of the Lord will be saved.” Romans 10:9-13
