Hosea 1

 

When the LORD began to speak through Hosea, the LORD said to him, "Go,
marry a promiscuous woman and have children with her, for like an
adulterous wife this land is guilty of unfaithfulness to the LORD."
Hosea 1:2

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be like the sand of the sea,
which cannot be measured or numbered. And in the place where it was
said to them, “You are not my people,” it shall be said to them, “Children
of the living God.” Hosea 1:10

Q. What causes for husbands and wives to drift apart?
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
“I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has
turned away from them.” Hosea 14:4
“I will return again to my place, until they acknowledge their guilt and
seek my face, and in their distress earnestly seek me.” Hosea 5:15
“I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud and your sins like
mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you.” Isaiah 44:22
