The Transforming Power of God’s Love
(Acts 28:1-31)
Rev. Eugene Cha
I. God is with us no matter what (vv. 1-8)
Everything we face has a purpose; there are no accidents
Hardships are not always evidence of divine punishment
Evidence of Paul’s apostolic authority
II. God is the only healer (vv. 8-9)
Difference between “healed” and “cured”
Both are from God
III. God’s plan may not work out the way we think it will (vv. 10-16)
God works in mysterious ways
God gives us just what we need
We need to trust in God’s plan
IV. We are to be faithful to the end (vv. 17-31)
Paul continued to preach the Gospel
Paul left the results up to God
Until his death, he preached and taught the gospel
V. Application
What are some things you are facing today? Do you believe that God is seeing you through?
Whose plan do you trust in? God’s or yours?
Are you being faithful to the work that God has called you to do?
