Experiencing God (6): Walk By Faith, Not By Sight
(Genesis 12-14)

 I. The foundation of our faith is Christ and the promises of God because of Christ(12:2-3, 7, 13:1, 4-5)

 II. When God asks something of us, there is a crisis of belief in God’s promises(12:1-3, 13:2-3)

 III. Our response in crisis of belief in light of who God is and His promises will reveal faith(12:4-7, 13:6)

 IV. God will NEVER fail, He IS Hope
His covenant (13:9-21)
His promises and oaths (Hebrews 6)

 V. Applications
Ask for greater faith and hope (Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 11:1)
What are some of the promises from God to you that you are waiting on/clinging to?  Are you losing hope?  Be honest with yourself.
Faith is action when we don’t know everything (Hebrews 11:1).  What areas of your life is God asking you to take actions that require faith?
Declare WHO God is (God is awesome, Healer, Gracious, Deliverer, Redeemer, etc) right now in faith.  WHO God is directly related to WHAT He does and faith is surrendering to HIM.
