He had compassion on the crowd (Mt. 14:14, Mk. 6:34)
He knew their spiritual, emotional, physical state(Jn. 6:5-6)

Point people to Jesus

 IV. Jesus provides and satisfies
Started with the willingness of a boy to give
Continued with the very small faith of the disciples
Jesus provides exactly what is needed at the right time
He allows His disciples and the people to see the abundance

 V. Application
What needs do you see in the people and the world around you?
How has God called you to be His hands and feet to meet those needs?
Why is it difficult for you to trust that God will provide and satisfy?
Thank God for His faithfulness.  Thank God for His continued faithfulness.
