Back in Cana: Random? (4:46). He performs another miracle.
Back in Jerusalem, again: Tradition? (5:1). Visits Bethesda and performs another miracle.

Young and old
Rich and poor
Loved and abandoned
Determined and discouraged
Urgent and chronic illness
Desperate and random
III. Similarities
No initiatives of their own
Immediate
Helpless on their own
Confesses faith
Led to believe in Jesus
IV. Application
Obviously, different people at different places responded differently to Jesus. What could be the underlying reasons?
Have you ever received a miracle in your life? How did it come? How did it help in your walk with God?
Do you need a miracle right now? Have you been praying? Why don’t you ask the people in your oikos right now to receive your miracle?
