“Advent—(2) Joy”
Isaiah 61:10-62:5

 I. God Will Rejoice (Isaiah 61:1-9)
That’s why it’s called the Good News
That’s why it’s called grace
That’s why we do it for the glory of God
That’s why we will become famous

 II. We Will Rejoice (Isaiah 61:10-11)
We are clothed with garments of salvation and a robe of righteousness
We have been made ready for the wedding

 III. We Will Praise (Isaiah 62:1- 5)
Until the righteousness shines out like the dawn and salvation like the blazing torch
Until God rejoices over us

 IV. Application
Today’s Advent theme is “joy.” Share what that means to you personally. Share how as you go through this season, the Advent series is helping you to focus on the reason for the season.
How do you retain joy, especially the joy of the Lord?
