1. Our mission and purpose is "to make disciples of all nations." So, we
promise to remain faithful to that in the days to come. We will make disciples
who not only follow Jesus Christ but also proclaim His Gospel and raise up
fellow followers of Christ.
2. We believe in raising up a next generation of not only believers but also
leaders of the church and the nation. Therefore, we promise to stay the course
and continue to make a concentrated effort to disciple those who will someday
take our place.
3. We believe that an authentic Christian lifestyle is the best way to share
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we will continue to strive for honest and
transparent lives before God and men.
4. We believe in the priesthood of all believers. We believe that the future
of the local church remains with the people of God. We believe that the
laypeople, rather than merely the clergy, are the true force of the body of
Christ. However, we also see a very special place in the life of the church for
dedicated and consecrated full-time ministers, pastor-teachers, evangelists, and
missionaries. Therefore, we will continue our effort in encouraging the very
best among us to become full-time vocational leaders and servants of the
church.
5. We believe God has called us to be a special beacon of His Kingdom during
a specific time and at a particular location. We believe we are not here by
accident or human will, but instead, we are here because God has called us to
serve Him as a local body of Christ, New Covenant Fellowship Church. Therefore
we will remain faithful to that call and work to do whatever it takes to achieve
that goal.
6. Today, we renew the vision that God gave our founding members 20 years
ago, and we affirm our covenant with Him: we will not rest until we realize the
dream that God has given us. We will be strong and courageous in all that we do,
and we will not turn from it to the right or to the left.
So help us, God!
