THE AWANA PLEDGE

I pledge allegiance to the AWANA flag, which stands for the AWANA clubs, whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

AWANA CLUB SCHEDULE
Each Wednesday Evening: 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm

We make every effort to start on time.  This means clubbers should show up on time.  If some clubbers arrive late, we have a shaky start which hurts the mood for the whole club evening.  PLEASE ARRIVE BETWEEN 6:50 PM - 7:00 PM EACH NIGHT.
Puggles and Cubbies should be taken to the classroom to be signed in.  Sparks and T&T should be brought to the AWANA desk to be signed in and then escorted to the Covenant Chapel for opening ceremony.  Parents are encouraged to participate in the opening ceremony and award time.  Children should not be left unattended.
The club ends at 8:30pm. Please be prompt in picking up your clubbers.  All clubbers must be picked up by a parent/guardian in their classroom. Children are not permitted to play unattended.

AFTERCARE

The children need to be picked up at 8:30pm except for the children whose parents are part of NCFC Wednesday Night Bible Study.  Those children will have aftercare from 8:30pm-9:00pm.  The Puggles and Cubbies will be doing table play, coloring and listening to stories during aftercare.  The Sparks and T&T will be reading books, playing board games or doing homework.  Homework help will be given to the children if needed.

CLUB AGENDA

Each evening includes the following:
* Flag Ceremony
* Opening Song
* Award Presentation
* Council Time (Bible lessons and singing)
* Game Time (Team oriented games on the AWANA circle)
* Handbook Time (small groups working on handbooks)

FLOW SCHEDULE

Cubbies and Puggles should be escorted by their parent/guardian to and from their room.  This group does not participate in the Flag ceremony and they spend the whole evening in their assigned room.
